PetMood helps you understand your pet. Here's how we handle the little bit of information you share with us — in plain English.
What we collect
The only information we collect is what you choose to give us:
- Your email address, if you sign up for updates or to get your full quiz plan.
- Your quiz result (the mood category — calm, bored, anxious, or stressed) if you sign up from the quiz. This just helps us send you the most relevant guide. The quiz itself runs in your browser; your individual answers are not sent to us or stored.
- Basic technical details recorded with your signup: the date and time, and the general country of your request. We don't collect your name, your pet's details, or any payment information.
How we use it
Your email is used to send you new guides and — if you took the quiz — content suited to your pet's mood. Nothing else. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Affiliate & referral links
Some pages recommend pet products through affiliate links (for example, retailers like Chewy or Amazon). If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and the retailer collects any purchase information under their own privacy policy. We don't share your email with them.
Where it's stored
Your information is stored securely with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, on servers in the United States.
Cookies and tracking
PetMood does not use advertising cookies to profile you. Affiliate links may set a standard referral cookie so a retailer can credit a purchase to us — that's how commissions work, and it doesn't identify you to us personally.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime via any email.
- Access or delete your information on request.
Not veterinary advice
PetMood offers behavioral and product information, not veterinary advice. If your pet's behavior changed suddenly or seems serious, please call your vet — a mood quiz can't see what a checkup can.
Children
PetMood is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and keep it plain.
